Delilah Atkinson
Delilah Atkinson is the Founder of Knowing Nanny and a firm believer that personality is the key to having happy nanny placements. She started to develop Knowing Nanny in 2006, the year she had her first daughter. She thought long and hard about what kind of a nanny the family wanted and she knew it was hard to identify that in an interview alone. She then worked with a team of occupational psychologists to develop Knowing Nanny and now, 3 years in, it has helped families and carers around the globe to have the ideal placements.
Giovanna Balistreri
While Giovanna calls Italy home, has been a nanny in Europe for over 20 years working in Germany, Italy and the UK. Although she has experience working with children of all ages, her area of expertise is caring for children ages 0-3. Giovanna operates the Facebook Page Tata Gio. Nanny, where she shares her childcare philosophy, thoughts, and her day to day projects. She also founded the Facebook Group Nanny in Europe, where she shares her experiences working abroad and creates a community for nannies working all over to connect.
Amy Bryant
With a passion for caring for children, Amy Bryant, owner and founder of Suitcase Nanny, started babysitting at just nine years old. At the age of eighteen, she left her home in the UK with only a suitcase to become a nanny in the US for three children under age five. Since then, Amy has worked for families in the USA, Australia, the UK, Dubai, and many parts of Europe. Over the last seven years, Amy has traveled extensively with families to support parents as they take holidays with their children. Amy is the voice behind The Suitcase Nanny blog, where she educates, supports, and inspires nannies and au pairs to become the next caregiver extraordinaire using her “Suitcase Nanny Guide.”
Danielle Bujnak
Danielle Bujnak is an experienced Early Childhood Educator with more than two decades of experience guiding and caring for infants, children, and their families in a wide variety of settings. Danielle has been a nanny, governess, and Master Newborn Care Specialist, as well as teacher for children of all ages. She has supported families in private family residences, through homeschooling, daycare, preschools, and Montessori and Waldorf-based early childhood programs. Her California Child Development Permit qualifies her at the “Master Teacher” and “Site Supervisor” levels, licensing her to run a multi-classroom preschool or daycare for infants and children, and to guide and mentor other teachers in best practices. After completing a graduate-level certificate in Early Childhood Education, Danielle is currently completing an MSc in children’s mental health and special education, following the Constructivist approach.
Janet Burchett, RN, MSN, CNL
Janet Burchett serves as a community health nurse educating families and children in school, camp, and settings as remote as the Amazon jungle. She holds a master’s in nursing and is certified as a clinical nurse leader. Her experience includes a background in emergency nursing and women’s health. She has also completed the CDC's disaster preparedness training. Her passion is teaching and empowering others, especially poor and vulnerable populations, with the tools and knowledge to improve and maintain their best health. She believes wholeheartedly in a holistic approach to health and that prevention is always worth a pound of cure. Besides her calling as a nurse, she loves being with her family and all the adventures that come from being a mom of three young children. Together, they enjoy reading, creating, singing, exploring nature, and learning about other cultures and languages.
Warren Burger
Warren Burger is the founder and CEO of Luminary Financial Advisors in Cocoa Beach, Florida. After a 27-year career managing trading desks on Wall Street, he discovered a passion for guiding individuals and families across the country toward financial independence. He believes the nanny industry is underserved in the financial planning community and is committed to offering financial education to the nanny community at large.
Laura Chandra
Laura Chandra is the Owner and Director at the Boston Nanny Centre, Inc., a full-service nanny/household staffing agency serving the Greater Boston, Massachusetts area since 1988. Before stepping into her current role at Boston Nanny Centre, Laura was a personal financial planner working with high net worth families. Laura currently serves as treasurer of the Association of Premiere Nanny Agencies. She holds an undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College and a master’s degree in financial planning from Bentley University.

Beth Coleman O'Keefe
Beth Coleman O’Keefe has been in the professional childcare industry for more than 4 decades. Working as a daycare teacher, nanny, counselor and mentor, her focus has been on caring for children with special nutritional, physical, and developmental needs. Beth holds degrees in elementary education, special education, and interdisciplinary fine arts with a focus in critical writing. She also holds certifications related to the childcare and food industries. A mother of five, she has home-schooled each of her children, all of whom graduated with honors. Beth currently lives and works in the Boston, Massachusetts region and is a die-hard Red Sox fan.

Shenandoah Davis is the CEO and co-founder of Adventure Nannies, a nationwide agency placing nannies, newborn care specialists, and private educators with innovative and active families locally in New York City and in relocation searches across the United States. She lives in Tacoma, Washington.
Sue Downey
Sue Downey is a nanny and has been since she accidentally found the profession 25 years ago. She started out as a live-out nanny caring for 4 boys in Cincinnati, Ohio, and then moved to the Philadelphia area as a live-in nanny and has stayed in the suburbs of Philly ever since. Sue has worked with many kinds of families and has cared for children of all ages, birth through teens. In her spare time, Sue works on a few nanny related projects including Nannypalooza, interNational Nanny Training Day, and on Our Nanny Diary, which she co-founded. Sue has led workshops at the INA conference, NAEYC conference, and Nannypalooza, as well as at local and regional gatherings. Sue’s full time job is caring for a family just outside of Philadelphia, where she spends her days trying to not step on Legos, playing dragons, and reading the same book over and over and over again and loving every minute of it all!
Stephanie Doyle
Stephanie has over a decade of experience in the in-home childcare industry. In addition to serving as the administrative assistant for Morningside Nannies, Houston’s award-winning nanny agency, as a career nanny and International Nanny Association credentialed nanny, she provides high-quality care to newborns through school-aged children. Stephanie holds her associate degree in early childhood education and has attended numerous industry conferences. In 2016, Stephanie was nominated for the International Nanny Association Nanny of the Year award. When she’s not working, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her young daughter Lily and her husband, Bobby.
Louise Dunham
Louise Dunham is the CEO of Placement Solutions, a Kew, Melbourne based Childwise accredited Nanny Agency specializing in referring nannies and household management staff. Established in 1988 and government approved in 2000, she has expanded her offerings to include Just Family Nannycare Payroll Pty Ltd and Nurture Training College RTO (Registered Training Organisation) to fulfill her mission of providing professional and screened household help and supporting families in paying all outlier staff legally. Louise has served on the board of directors of the International Nanny Association, sponsored and organized the first Melbourne interNational Nanny Training Day, and sponsored and hosted, the first Australian Nannypalooza Oz conference. Placement Solutions served as an inaugural provider of the Dept. of Ed. approved in-home care scheme (metro Melbourne) and served as the Victorian provider for the Nanny Pilot. Louise also served on the Senate Steering Committee that wrote the in-home care standards. Louise is the author of The State of the Nanny where she shares her expert insights into the nanny industry.
